How to Use UberEats Super Fast Food Delivery Service

So I used UberEats for the first time last week Sunday. I ordered a pizza and ended up paying only R15 because of the R100 voucher I used! It was delivered in 37 minutes. What a treat! Follow the tutorial below to get R100 off your first meal too. 20 easy steps and your favourite meal will be delivered to your door.

What you need:

1. An Android smartphone (An iPhone is fine, but you will need to download the app from iTunes)
2. A credit card (If you have a Capitec Debit Card you don’t need a credit card)
3. About 100 megabytes of data
4. About R20 in your credit card/Capitec Debit Card

Step 1

Open the Play Store on your Android smartphone.

Step 2

Search UberEats in the search bar at the top of your screen.

Step 3

Select UberEats in the search results.

Step 4

Tap the Install button. The app is about 22 megabytes so make sure you have enough data.

Step 5

Tap on the OPEN button to open the app once it’s installed.

Step 6

Now you can select the LOG IN WITH UBER button if you have an existing Uber account or you can tap Register if you don’t.

I am logging in with my Uber account. Add your details then tap the LOG IN button.

Step 8

Enter the address you want your food delivered to in the bar at the top of the screen.

They also give you an option of When to deliver your food, but it seems like the Schedule option is broken so I kept it on ASAP.

UberEats might ask you to allow location access. Allow it if you want to continue.

Step 9

Enter your Apartment/Suite/Floor name and number if applicable then tap the ADD button.

Step 10

Now tap the DONE button.

Step 11

Now choose your restaurant.

Scroll down to see the menu then choose your meal. You can also navigate to different sections of the menu by tapping the burger menu in the bottom right corner.

Step 13

Choose how many of the item you want then tap the ADD TO CART button.

Step 14

If you’re done adding meals to your cart tap the CHECK OUT button.

Step 15

Now tap on the ADD PROMO CODE text just above the PLACE ORDER button.

Step 16

Add the UberEats Promo Code eats-kurtw697ue then tap the APPLY button.

Once you receive the R100 voucher tap the back arrow.

Now tap the PLACE ORDER button.

Once payment goes through you will see where the order is being made, where the driver is and the ETA of your food delivery.

Once your food is delivered you will receive a receipt via email. If you would like to view your receipt before then you can do so in the app.
